BGYO (formerly Star Hunt Academy Boys or SHA Boys) is a Filipino boy band formed in 2018 through ABS-CBN's Star Hunt Academy (SHA). The group consists of five members: Gelo, Akira, JL, Mikki, and Nate.
BGYO made their official debut on January 29, 2021, with the single "The Light". Their recording of "He's Into Her", the theme song of the series of the same name, was named the Philippine national winner for Best Theme Song or Title Theme at the Asian Academy Creative Awards in 2021 and advanced to the international finals. The same year, BGYO became the first Filipino act to reach number one on Billboard's weekly Next Big Sound chart following the release of "The Baddest". The group has released two studio albums, The Light (2021) and Be Us (2022), followed by the extended plays BGYO and Headlines in 2025 and On Demand in 2026.
BGYO's music spans pop, contemporary R&B, electronic dance music, dance-pop, funk, neo soul and related styles. Their lyrics commonly address themes of self-discovery, personal growth, perseverance, relationships and positivity. The group has become increasingly involved in the creation of its music, contributing to songwriting as well as decisions concerning genre, vocal interpretation and overall musical direction.
BGYO's international activities expanded in 2025 when they became the first Filipino performers at the Summer Sonic Festival through Summer Sonic Bangkok, where they were also the only Filipino act in the lineup. In October of that year, they staged BGYO Now at the New Frontier Theater, their first major solo concert. Their international appearances continued in 2026 with a performance at the D.U.N.K. Showcase in K-Arena Yokohama in Japan.
