Daisuke Ishiwatari
Daisuke Ishiwatari (石渡 太輔, Ishiwatari Daisuke; born August 14, 1973) is a South African-born Japanese video game developer, illustrator, musician, composer, and voice actor. He is best known for creating the 2D fighting game series Guilty Gear. He designed the characters, storyline, and wrote the music. He also voiced the protagonist, Sol Badguy, until 2007.
Ishiwatari has worked on several other games for Arc System Works, such as Blazblue as a composer and illustrator, and Battle Fantasia as a voice actor for the character Freed Velez.
Ishiwatari is a metal and rock composer. His compositions feature intricate guitar work. He's collaborated with other musicians such as Jason Charles Miller, Shin Hae-chul, Lapis Lazuli (band), Naoki Hashimoto, and AISHA.
He is also the Chief Creative Officer of Arc System Works.
